With Flemish companies
The Flanders in Action project (ViA) has been set up by the Flemish Government as an inclusive, interactive project for the Flemish region.
ViA must break new grounds in terms of vision and strategy. By placing even greater focus on talent, innovation, internationalisation, logistics and mobility in a policy plan for 2020, the region aspires to position itself in the European top 5. This policy plan will also concentrate on sustainability and an efficient and customer-oriented government.
In preparation for this policy plan, there is a broad and open dialogue with opinion leaders and stakeholders. The Flemish Government is organising this participation and involvement via workshops. In 2008, four ViA workshops were organised drawing on direct input from the online discussions with stakeholders as well as scientific experts. The outcomes of the workshops will be translated into policy proposals and the Flemish Government will draw up a Pact for Flanders 2020 with the social partners (entrepreneurs’ organisations and trade unions).
